Drafting a Will

  1. Identify yourself and declare your mental wellbeing and intent to create the will.
  2. Nullify all previous wills.
  3. Select beneficiaries and be specific and realistic about who gets what.
  4. Choose an executor and a guardian for your children if you have any.
  5. Write provisions that carry out your wishes and attach a letter to your will if you want to.
  6. Sign your will properly in the presence of two witnesses and their signatures.
  7. Register and stamp your will if possible
